Speakers

  • Lokka/Rozyl
    Lokka/Rozyl

@Lokka (she/her) is based in Hilversum and has had a passion for rope since early 2021. In that same year she started her own jam, and started teaching two years later.
When tying with a partner, her focus is on the connection, not the rope. Rope becomes a shared language, a medium through which something intimate and magical can unfold. She ties with someone because she wants to be close with them, the rope is only a means of achieving that. Whether standing when she gets tied or being closer to the floor as a rigger, she enjoys the dynamics that floorwork brings her.

@Rozyl(he/him) started his rope journey in early 2022 as a bottom. After learning to appreciate the flow and dynamic of one rope play, he started rigging himself. His style focuses on floorwork with a lot of movement, playing with balance and intimacy. He sees rope as an extension of his body and as a medium to let somebody feel like they are being held.

As partners both in life and in rope, Lokka and Rozyl teach in a dynamic, collaborative way, frequently switching roles to offer multiple perspectives on different techniques they cover. They also share their real-time experiences from the viewpoint of the person in rope, creating a learning environment where both sides of the rope receive attention and value. Together, they have taught at several rope festivals, including RopeLinked, EURIX and the Prague Shibari Festival.

  • Barkas/Addie
    Barkas/Addie

Author of “Archaeology of personalities – a linguistic approach to erotic rope bondage”, as well as several articles in international magazines. Barkas celebrates their 15th anniversary of teaching Kinbaku internationally this year.

Addie is a Vancouver-based rope educator and health care professional who teaches and performs world-wide. Addie is a switch and self-suspension enthusiast. She organizes regular workshops on dynamic self-suspension and versatile education both, for beginners and technically advanced. When co-teaching, she focuses on bottoming information and discourse.
