Nikoleta/ŠembiNikoleta has been practicing Shibari since 2018 – first as a model, later as a rigger. This dual perspective gives her a deep understanding of both sides of the rope. Her tying blends safety and trust with a touch of cruelty and beauty. She has been influenced above all by Soptík, Riccardo Wildties, and A-Nicolas.
Her students value her ability to read her partner, improvise, and always maintain the highest standards of safety. She is able to share her knowledge with both riggers and models, and her classes combine clear guidance, patience, and humor.Šembi enjoys calm, deep bindings, but also dynamic and playful ones. She never knows exactly where the rope will take her – it only reveals itself on the spot, after the first glance and the placement of the rope. Every session is a new story for her, where aesthetics blend with experience, trust, and strong emotions.

Tifereth/Joan Von BrockTifereth was introduced to the world of shibari in 2011, beginning solely as a model but quickly falling in love with self-suspension. From there, she discovered the joy of tying with others, as she began working first in a style influenced by the American convention scene’s style of tying. She began exploring Kazami-ryu in 2013 through Osaka Dan and later Kazami Ranki, inventing the peach tie during this time. A trip to EURIX in 2015 marked a major shift away from Kazami style, and extreme sadism and maximalism in general as influences from Pedro, Vlada and the growing popularity of Naka ryu in Europe provided sources of inspiration. In 2016 she created the now globally popular Tenshi, as she moved into what has become her signature style of tying. Tifereth’s work now reflects her deep interest in minimalist harness construction, body mechanics, and the intersections of movement arts with rope. Additionally, with more than a decade of performing shibari all over the globe she enjoys deepening her stage craft at every opportunity.
Workshops with Tifereth hinge on her belief that no matter the goal of the rope you’re exploring, you always work from a model first perspective. Accordingly, you can expect body mechanics to be heavily featured in her classes, along with skill building hands on movement techniques, working with the models to deepen their practice alongside their riggers. She employs a “nihilistic” approach to harness construction that carries through her class content, teaching harnesses as useful patterns not assigned to any particular body part.Joan Von Brock is presenter, perfomer, rope bottom, rigger and co-founder of Subspace studio in Prague, Czech Republic. She is a shibari addict since 2013. First as a rope-bottom, but almost immediately started also tying actively. She has attended many workshops on both sides of ropes. As a rigger, she is mostly influenced by Soptik and A-Nicolas. As a bottom, she greatly benefits from her experience with challenging ties either in Naka style or because of bottoming for Tifereth and A-Nicolas. Her passion is sharing information about rope-bottoming both for floorwork and suspensions. Has various sports and dancing background, loves to look at body and mind as an inseperable unit.
